Riley (he/they) is a Naarm/Melbourne-based Sound Recordist with a passion for all things audio. He has spent nearly 7 years immersed in the sound and music industry, founding and operating alternative record label X Amount Records. A pivotal moment came when a friend asked Riley to direct sound for a short film, reigniting his passion for audio recording and engineering. The rush of being on set sparked a newfound love for the fast-paced world of recording for film and motion.

Through his extensive work with musicians, Riley has developed a unique blend of creative and practical approaches to sound recording, underpinned by an obsessive knowledge of microphones and recording techniques. Riley thrives on the dynamic nature of film production.

He also performs and creates music under the moniker Mr. Society.
